How do I get to the resort, and what are check-in times?
Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is at noon. The resort is on Carretera Chetumal–Benito Juárez, KM 250, just south of Akumal town. Cancún International Airport is roughly 100 km away, a little over an hour by car, and Tulum International Airport is about an hour's drive. Round-trip airport transfers can be booked as an add-on, and self-parking is free.
What is there to do near the resort beyond the all-inclusive grounds?
Akumal means "place of turtles", and the bay is known for snorkeling with green sea turtles, with May to October the best time to see them. The Tulum ruins are roughly a 20–25 minute drive. Many day tours combine the ruins, cenote swimming and turtle snorkeling in one outing. In the evening, bars generally wind down around 11pm, and the Hacienda Doña Isabel nightclub runs from 23:30 to 02:00.
